Cisco Vpn is Connected, now what?

so i have two locations and cisco pix firewalls at both locations. i have the passwords and all that information from the firewall. my question is when i use cisco vpn client it says connected and minimizes, i went into network places i didnt see anything. both sites have different domain names and different inside ip addresses like 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 etc
